I have been in a few challenges in my life. Never have I been in 2 challenges at the same time. Now, I am in three challenges at the same time! Whoa!!

My first challenge that I started on March 18 is called 75HARD. This is 75 days of mental toughness. I have to do, 2-45 minute workouts daily and the second one has to be outside. It does not matter what the weather is doing. Talk about mental toughness doing this 7 days a week! Take a Progress Picture daily. This is so I can see the physical changes as they happen very small changes daily. Reading 10 pages of a nonfiction book. This is for personal growth. Audiobooks do not count. Follow a diet, doesn’t matter what kind. No cheat meals and NO alcohol. This one doesn’t bother me too badly. Although, we have been out with friends occasionally for dinner and I would have liked a glass of wine. I do need to tell you, it bothered me a little bit at first and now my water is fine. Drink 1 gallon of water. That wasn’t too hard as I normally drink a fair amount of water anyway. I just need to make sure to get it all in hopefully by 7 pm at the latest.

It hasn’t been too back. It has helped me focus better. I don’t procrastinate for my business or actually anything in my life. The little voice in my head, you know the one, has been quiet since about week 3 or 4.

Oh and if I miss any one of the activities, I have to start over at Day 1!!! Needless to say as I write this I have 4 days to complete this challenge. I still am on my guard not to forget any of it for 4 more days.

My second challenge I am doing started on May 1. This is the Ultimate Blog Challenge. I have to write 1 blog a day for 31 days. I started this challenge in February because I am relatively new at blogging. I figured it would get me into a habit of writing. Which it did for about 1 1/2-2 weeks in. Then I started to fall behind and eventually fell far enough that it was hard to catch up. So when it was offered again, I actually jumped at it. I have 4 more days to complete this challenge. Do you see a pattern here? I do believe the 75HARD is why I have been successful so far in this challenge.

My third challenge started this week. No, Day Zero was actually last Saturday. This challenge is put on by my entrepreneurial community. 2 hours every evening I am actually in a Master Mind with some pretty awesome Trainers. You might recognize a couple names, Kevin Harrington, the original shark on Shark Tank and creator of the infomercial, and James Malinchak, ABC’s Secret Millionaire. Plus so many more awesome Master Trainers. This challenge is 8 days. Not bad compared to the other 2. After a long day of activity from the first challenge and working on my business, coaching, meetings and writing a blog it is hard to sit still and try not to yawn on camera! No I am definitely not bored and I don’t want the Master Trainers to think I am.

So, this has been quite a new experience for me at the same not only 2 challenges but 3 challenges. The funny thing is I am so so glad I accepted all 3 challenges. I will tell you though I do sleep well!

To Your Success,

Deb

Deb, congratulations on meeting these challenges! It pops out to me that the 75HARD increased your focus. IMHO that and intention are the secrets of the professional universe. Thanks for sharing about your challenges!

Hi Deb, whoa, you are a very busy woman! Only a few days left of all the challenges, what do you have planned next? I am on the same boat as you with multiple challenges including the UBC blog challenge (first time ever blogging), a 21 day speed reading course (Kwik Reading Program), Own Your Own Future Challenge (Tony Robins & Dean Graziosi), and a monthlong writing challenge with Hayhouse publishing (coming up). It feels good to stretch beyond what we know to grow. Thank you for sharing. Best of luck in the last few days and next adventures!

Sending lots of love and gratitude,
      Jaime
