What is a limiting belief? Unfortunately, they attack every single person. It does not matter rich or poor, male or female or ethnicity. They attack at any time.

Limiting Beliefs

A limiting belief is that little voice that is in your head that says,

You are not good enough!

What are you thinking!

You are not smart enough!

You will never reach that goal!

It is any negative thought that tries to keep you down.

We All Have Them

Don’t think your are special because you have these thoughts. Every single one of us has these limiting beliefs. Again, does not matter who you are or how old you are. They can happen at anytime to anyone.

Did you know that there is the fear of success?

Yes, if you are building a business, painting a picture, working a job the little voice starts.

The fear of success is a limiting belief.

Limiting beliefs usually are unwelcomed when you realize how they are trying to throw you off track of your goal.

These beliefs do their best to keep you from succeeding. And the fear of succeeding allows the little voice to speak.

Unfortunately, limiting beliefs usually are not outside attacking you!

No, they come from within. Your subconscious is actually where they are coming from.

This is why you have to fight these limiting beliefs.

How do you do this?

Helping Ourselves

To break the limiting beliefs, you have to strive to keep positive thoughts.

This starts with small habits.

You need to do this by changing the habit, negative thoughts, from within.

Start small when changing any habit.

When you start small to change your habit, it is easier to keep the habit and make it stronger.

Some ways of doing this is reading affirmations daily.

Here are a few examples:

I love unconditionally and enjoy my life.

I envision my life in perfect bliss. I love my freedom.

I love my life. I live in joy and peace.

I give and receive with an open heart.

More and more good things are coming to me.

Seeing these gives the subconscious positive thoughts.

Post the affirmations where you can see them.

Put them on your bathroom mirror to see them every morning and every night.

Start your day on a positive note and have positive dreams.

Other places to post the affirmations is the fridge, your computer, on your phone, in your car.

These are just a few ideas where to place them.

More suggestions to help keep those limiting beliefs away are

working out

going for a bike ride

going for a walk

reading a personal growth book

listening to a positive podcast or

listening to uplifting music.

A real big helper to keep the limiting beliefs out is surrounding yourself with positive people.

Make sure you laugh. Being with positive people helps you to laugh.

Having a mentor or accountability partner can help also to keep those limiting beliefs at a minimum.

I am sure you will be able to think of some other positive things.

It’s OK to Not be OK

There will be those days though. It is okay to not be okay.

You need to recognize it, embrace it.

The biggest thing with this is be aware of who you are.

Be proud of who you are.

Then move on with the rest of your day.

Remember, keeping a positive environment will help keep those limiting beliefs as few as possible.

They will still try to sneak in but you’ve got this.

Look at your WINs, smile and be proud of how far you have come!
